Biography
Tim O'Shea
Based in the south west of Ireland, Tim plays acoustic guitar instrumentals, backs and arranges Irish folk tunes and plays Bodhrán (Irish Frame Drum). He also composes and sings songs, and has been working as a solo musician and in several bands since the late 1980s.
Tim's repertoire draws from the dance music of his native Sliabh Luachra and West Kerry folk traditions. The singing of Irish and Scottish performers like Jimmy McCarthy, Andy Irvine, Paul Brady, Dick Gaughan and Andy M. Stewart remain his main influences.
Tim has toured India, USA, Australia, New Zealand and much of Europe. Since 1992 — 30th Anniversary in 2021 — Tim has annually toured Germany (37 times in 34 years, 1992–2025). They have played many Irish music festivals and supported super folk band Altan twice, Dolores Keane (ex De Dannan), Sharon Shannon, Dé Dannan, Máire Breathnach (ex-Riverdance), Karan Casey (ex-Solas), Dervish and Lúnasa, to mention a few.
In April 1999 Tim produced, arranged and featured on his first independent CD, "Fair Dawning — Tim O'Shea & Friends". He played with "The Spirit of Ireland" and "To Dance on the Moon" at the National Events Centre in Killarney for the summers of 2000, 2001 and 2002, and has made several television and radio appearances at home and abroad.

Brendan emigrated to Chicago in 1987, rising in the Irish-American Folk/Rock scene with the "Drovers" before recording three solo Folk/Acoustic CDs. Hot Press rated his release "Be Here Still" 8½ out of 10.
His songs feature in Ron Howard's "Backdraft" and the documentary "Begging Naked". He has shared stages with The Frames, Cowboy Junkies, 10,000 Maniacs, Elliott Smith and Interpol, and hosts the long-running "Scratcher Sessions" in New York City's East Village.
A native of Fossa, near Killarney, Patrick grew up surrounded by the music of Sliabh Luachra, influenced by the Uilleann Pipes tradition of the Bothy Band and master piper Paddy Keenan.
A multi-instrumentalist preserving and "drinking from the deep well" of the masters, he brings "lively energy with precision craft" to this ancient music. He is also Principal at Killarney School of Music and has toured Europe, USA and Dubai.
Born in Dublin and raised in Carlow, Jeremy began the fiddle at 10 under Siobhan Peoples and Jim McKillop, with master classes from Martin Hayes and Brendan McGlinchy.
He studied at University College Cork, forming the band Nuada and appearing on RTÉ Radio 1 and TG4. In 2007 he moved to Killarney, weaving subtleties from Sliabh Luachra and gusto from Roscommon into a distinctive sound.
Tim and Gerald have toured Germany, Northern Ireland and the USA together across many years. Ger's earliest influences were Joe Burke (Galway), Donal De Barra (Limerick) and the great fiddler Andy McGann (New York).
Aged only 18, Gerald was the Senior All-Ireland Accordion Champion in 1990. Together they combine music styles from Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Galway and western Ireland.
